In the epic Ramayan lord Rama on the way to search Sita, he reached at Tahakari with distressed mind and he started asking to trees and flowers about Sita. Lord Shankar and Parvati were watching all this things from the sky. Parvati declined to accept that, the lord Rama is AVATAR of lord Vishnu, as he was crying for his wife, which a god would never done. But Lord
Shiva told her firmly, “Rama is AVATAR of Visnu” but she did not convinced. She has decided to take a test of Lord Rama. She went in front of Shree Ram in appearance of Sita, but Rama immediately realize that she is not Sita and he asked her. “Oh mother, how you come on the earth ?” By hearing this, she was ashamed. Seeing this, Lord Shiva starting laughing. So that Parvati disappeared from this place and came back in the form of “JAGDAMBA MATA”.
