Comfort first, then style. I have two other issues that prevent me from wearing high heals. There are a lot of good custom bootmakers, but you can’t get the best ones, and a lot of mass market boots, like Lucchese Classics which run $700 and you don’t really get much for that. Our boots are made exactly the same way as a pure custom, all handmade, the same number of man hours, the hand stitching, the inlays, the tooling, but I do more at a time, buy more skins at a time, so I can do it for less.
